Blood Club 2026

We invite trainee doctors, nurses, pharmacists, biomedical scientists, students and allied healthcare professionals to submit an abstract for presentation. The top four abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation, with each successful author receiving a £250 prize.
Abstracts will be reviewed by an expert panel, including Professor Karunanithi (UHNM) and Dr Qureshi (UHCW), making this a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work to leading haematology professionals from across the West Midlands.
Key information
- Submission deadline: Wednesday 30 September 2026
- Eligibility: Trainee doctors, nurses, pharmacists, biomedical scientists, students and allied healthcare professionals
- Topic: Clinical or scientific abstracts relating to any aspect of haematology, including audits or QIPs
- Abstract length: Abstracts should be no more than 250 words (title, authors and affiliations are not included in the word count)
- Figure upload: One optional figure may be uploaded (maximum size 10 MB)
- Presenting author: Must register to attend the conference before submission.
